 ABOUT smutjunkies.com This is a privately run site. It was officially launched December of 2002 by a collector (me, Thomas) with the hopes of sharing information gathered from my own collection, and hunting for items to expand the collection with the help of others. Since going public with smutjunkies, the interest and sharing has been great. It has expanded well beyond a single collection. We have had the opportunity to share information (and unfortunately, piss off a few people) from all over the world with similar a interests. It has helped expand one of the most comprehensive Publications Listings on Gay Erotica on the net, and the Model Profiles are more comprehensive than anything we have seen elsewhere. It could not have been done alone. AUGUST 2005 GayEroticArchives.com will be officially open. This is the companion site to smutjunkies. Information in smutjunkies will be about the Men who appear in front of the cameras... Gay Erotic Archives (GEA) will be about the people behind the cameras (and paint brushes, typewriters, etc.). The research for smutjunkies has opened a great deal of information about the makers and producers of Gay Erotica. Also, the work of smutjunkies has opened up a good many affiliations with Archives, photographers and the likes. A more suitable forum was needed for this information. Thus Gay Erotic Archives. The two sites are designed for a seamless integration, but as a stand alone as well. The hope is to create one of the most comprehensive overviews of Gay Erotica from the late 1960's to the present. From the small and obscure to the Heavy Hitters and Big Boys of the genre. We know that there will always be someone or something missing, but if a guy drops his drawers and a Gay Man wants a look, we'll be lurking around there as well. TO TOP OF PAGE |
